Go Car Rental Iceland wanted to highlight their vehicles as a means to explore Iceland rather than focusing on the cars themselves. Their goal was to promote Iceland as a destination, emphasizing the breathtaking landscapes and experiences their rentals enable. The challenge was to create content that resonated with travelers, showcasing the vehicles as a seamless part of an adventure rather than the focal point.

Challenge

To meet this challenge, we developed a content strategy centered around an authentic 3-day itinerary in Iceland’s stunning Westfjords. Our approach included:

  • Storytelling Focus: Creating a narrative that positions the vehicle as an essential companion to the adventure.

  • Visual Direction: Capturing a blend of scenic landscapes and lifestyle moments to inspire travelers, ensuring the car complements the environment without dominating it.

  • Location Selection: Choosing diverse and less-traveled spots to highlight the versatility of the rentals, from scenic coastal drives to remote mountain roads.

  • Content Distribution: The final deliverables included a short-form video, high-quality images, and social media stories aimed at driving engagement.

Approach

The content successfully showcased Iceland's natural beauty with the car subtly integrated, resonating with adventure-seeking audiences. The engaging short-form video and lifestyle-driven imagery provided Go Car Rental with authentic, destination-focused content for their social media channels and marketing campaigns.
