Grindelwald Tourism, located in the heart of the Swiss Alps, sought to enhance its digital presence and inspire travelers by showcasing the region’s diverse outdoor activities and iconic landmarks. The goal was to produce engaging visual content that highlights the breathtaking landscapes of Grindelwald and the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe, one of the world's highest train stations at 3,454 meters.

Since 2023, I have collaborated with Grindelwald Tourism yearly, producing content that tells the story of the region’s natural beauty and adventure offerings. In 2024, I returned to create a dedicated reel and post for Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe, which performed exceptionally well on social media, driving engagement and visibility.

Challenge

Working closely with the Grindelwald Tourism team, we developed a content strategy focused on:

  • Authentic Storytelling: Showcasing the adventure and serenity of Grindelwald through captivating visuals that highlight hiking trails, mountain vistas, and seasonal activities.

  • Diverse Content Creation: Producing a mix of drone imagery, lifestyle photography, and short-form videos that resonate with outdoor enthusiasts.

  • Strategic Distribution: Delivering content optimized for Instagram, focusing on reels and high-quality posts that effectively capture the audience's attention.

  • Annual Engagement: Maintaining a consistent collaboration by adapting the content to seasonal campaigns and new tourism initiatives each year.

Approach

Over the past two years, our content has contributed to:

  • Increased reach and engagement across Grindelwald Tourism’s social media platforms, with the visuals performing exceptionally well and driving audience interaction.

  • Enhanced visibility for the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe, with the 2024 reel and post achieving outstanding engagement.

  • A growing digital presence that resonates with both local and international audiences, inspiring them to visit the region.
