In early 2025, we partnered with OutIn Inc. to create cinematic and lifestyle-focused visuals for their global “Coffee Goes Places” campaign. The aim was to feature their flagship product—the OutIn Nano, a best-selling portable espresso machine—in authentic travel scenarios that highlight its portability and sleek design. Rather than traditional product shots, the goal was to position the Nano as a seamless companion during travel moments, especially in landmark-rich environments. The content needed to be emotionally engaging, visually elevated, and suitable for both organic and paid use across platforms.

We worked hand-in-hand with OutIn’s branding team to ensure the concept and execution aligned with their “Coffee Goes Places” campaign. After suggesting several potential shoot locations, Gruyère was selected for its iconic charm and visual richness. We captured a cinematic reel of a traveler making coffee outdoors with the Nano, surrounded by snowy mountain views and classic Swiss architecture—creating an emotional and relatable story.

Deliverables included:

  • 1 cinematic Instagram Reel (published as a collaborative post with OutIn and also used in paid advertising via a provided ad code)

  • 5 lifestyle photographs with an editorial and natural feel

  • Location scouting, creative scripting, post-production, and strategic guidance

The content received outstanding feedback from OutIn, with no edits requested. The video resonated well with viewers, generating engagement through DMs and comments. The collaborative post helped amplify the campaign and was further utilized in OutIn’s ad strategy. Following this successful delivery, OutIn expressed interest in a long-term collaboration involving multiple city-themed video shoots, and our first project helped inform internal discussions around that potential direction.

First of all, I believe Damien is an exceptionally professional photographer. Both his shooting techniques and equipment are of a high standard. He is also a uniquely talented creator, with a distinct style and perspective that are evident in the video he produced for us. The professionalism of this collaboration was truly impeccable.

Equally impressive was the entire communication process with Damien, which was incredibly well-structured. He had his own creative ideas while fully respecting our specific requirements. During the pre-shooting phase, he ensured comprehensive discussions, asking about our expectations for the project. He also provided multiple location options to accommodate our vision as much as possible. His responses were always detailed and thorough, minimizing the need for back-and-forth clarifications. Moreover, his timely replies made the entire collaboration process smooth and efficient.

Overall, both the video quality and the communication experience made this a truly enjoyable collaboration.
